The U12s girls played their cup semi-final against Midsomer Norton this morning. It was a very even match but unfortunately we conceded a goal with 5 minutes to go. Despite some great attacking play and numerous corners we couldn’t get the equaliser and the game ended 0-1.
It has been a great season for the team, finishing high in the league and reaching the cup semi-final. The team has played some fantastic football along the way and a great team spirit has been created.
Players of the match were Eden and Olivia. Centre forward Eden had a great game and held the ball up well to keep possession. Olivia made a number of important tackles and did really well bringing the ball out of defence and starting attacking moves.
