A competitive game for the U12 girls today against Wessex.
Our regular goalkeeper was injured so 2 outfield players, Alexa and Izzy, stepped in for a half each as keepers. Despite their lack of experience, neither player conceded a goal from open play and the only goal we did concede was from a penalty. Alexa and Izzy were therefore our players of the match.
Special mentions also for our captain,Daisy, who was the player Wessex nominated as our best player on the day, and for Rosie, who was praised by Wessex’s coaches for her composure on the ball.
