On Saturday our U11 girls entered the big Jurassic Coast tournament where after 5 group matches we qualified for the plate competition. We had to then play two further matches to reach the final which we did, we won the first won 2-0 against Isle of Wedmore and in the second match we drew 1-1 with Cardiff; this was an amazing performance because our goal difference was better than Cardiffs so we qualified for the final. In the final we totally dominated but unfortunately could not get the result and therefore it went to penalties which unfortunately we lost 3-2. However it was a great performance from the under 11 girls and it capped of a great season and put Bishops Lydeard firmly again on the map and I would finally like to say I’m so proud of them all and to thank them for great season 2017/18
