The U13 Girls played a league cup match today against Midsomer Norton. It was an enthralling encounter with play going from end to end as two evenly matched teams pressed for a goal. Unfortunately, it was not to be Lydeards’ day and it ended 2-1 to Midsomer Norton.
Players of the match were Annabelle, with an energetic performance in midfield and some good attacking play, and left back Izzy, who showed a lot of determination and composure defending and going forwards. Well done girls.
