It was the first ever game for a lot of the girls today, playing a very strong ex Bristol division A side. Although Weston Mendip had the biggest share of the ball, Lydeard showed great resolve, kept battling and trying to play the way we have been practicing. In the end we only lost 2 of the 4 quarters with a great captain’s performance by Bella, always encouraging the team. The parents players of the game was Alexa and Millie-May. Managers player went to debut goal keeper Sofia.

Jago was awarded player of the match by the referee for the U8 Youth Pumas this morning pulling off some fantastic saves in goal. It was a great game at home to Wembdon.
