The U13 Girls team (with 25% of the team unavailable) faced stiff Wellington opposition, in an early top of the table match, last Saturday. Thanks to goals from Pip Stephens and Laci Franklin, and some determined team spirit, the Lydeard team came out on top 2-1.
Parents Player of the Match was Laci, making a welcome return to the team, and Eloise the Manager’s Player; putting in an enormous performance as stand in keeper.
Our team quiz was won on the day by Bobbi Dakers and the Football Poem by Lacey Billing, with a fun poem entitled “Achieve Your Dream”.
